Chevy Trailblazer Brake Lights?

I have a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer LS and all the lights work except the brake lights. Someone said it might be the brake switch but I cannot locate and even if I did I would not know how to change it. Please anone who can explain in detail what it looks like and how to replace it.Chevy Trailblazer Brake Lights?A lot of cars have brake lights running thru the turn signal switch.Usually if the rear window light works (which only runs thru brake light switch) it's the turn signal switch. If this is the case try pulling turn lever back towards you lightly.if they work then it's the t/s switch.Chevy Trailblazer Brake Lights?it is a push button switch that the brake pedal support arm touch,s ....when the pedal is pushed down it release,s the button.....turning on the brake light,s........follow the arm up to the switch........good luck!Chevy Trailblazer Brake Lights?just torch it then nothing will workChevy Trailblazer Brake Lights? The break light switch is locates on the break peddle. It only has 2 wires going to it unless it has cruse on it.Chevy Trailblazer Brake Lights?Start by checking the fuse.

The switch is toward the top of the brake pedal. Go to the parts store and ask for one, look at it and you will know then what you are looking for if it isn't the fuse.Chevy Trailblazer Brake Lights? There has been a recall on the brake light switch check with a dealer and they should be able to fix it quickly and at no cost.Chevy Trailblazer Brake Lights?there is a recall on the lamp board....part#16532713 price 25.72 no more mark up than this... gm list price. i work for gm......please if helpful give me some points by choosing best answer thank you...
