On my 2003 Ford Falcon (yes they still make the Falcon in Australia) you unscrew the light fitting using a phillips head screwdriver and pull the fitting away from the body of the car. The wires stay attached so don't pull too hard. You then unscrew the brake light fitting by turning a 1/4 turn or so to release, then do the same with the globe. In Australia these are both anti-clockwise. To change the bulb you have to open the tailgate and use a torx T15 screwdriver and remove either 2 or 3 screws holding the lens in. Then pop out the lens once the screws are removed. Next disconnect the electrical connector for the brake light, turn the plastic piece that the wires were connected to and pull once it stops turning to the left. The bulb should now be in your hand. They did have problems with the printed circuit so if you change the bulb and it doesn't work you may need that.

Walk around to the back of your Sentra and gently pry the taillight cover away from the rear quarter-panel.

Loosen the turn signal bulb socket by turning it counterclockwise and remove it from the taillight assembly.

Press the old bulb into the socket, turn it counterclockwise and pull it out. Dispose of the bulb immediately to prevent it from becoming a hazard.

Screw the new bulb into the socket until it stops twisting. Avoid placing too much pressure on the bulb, as this may cause it to crack.

Turn your car back on and activate the turn signal. If the bulb blinks, press the taillight cover back into place.

When I do work like this, I take the front seat out so I can lay down to do any work under there because I'm a tall guy and not as flexible as I used to be.

I used to have one, and if I remember right, there's a couple of clips at the back of the light cluster (you might need to pull away the carpet in the boot) which allows the entire unit to be taken out from the outside of the car. Then it's just a matter of undoing the bayonet-fit bulb and replacing it with another one. It's a standard bulb, any motor factor or Halfords will stock them for 2-ish each, it's worth buying a couple, because they blow all the time on Clios. When you're done, the light unit is supposed to just clip back into place, but it can be a fiddle to get it to line up properly, hence the number of old Clios you'll see with slightly squinty rear lights!
