How to change a rear stop/brake light on a 2002 bonneville?

Logic says that if there's no access hole under it in the trunk then you'll have to crawl in the backseat and figure out the trick to taking the top lens assembly off. Start prying around with a small screwdriver and see what might pop off.

%26quot;One place where you will run into the most problems is the Center Mount Stop Light (CMSL). Most are mounted inside the car on the rear deck lid. Removing these can be a problem. Some have mounting screws hidden by small plastic covers. Some have studs extending down into the trunk and are held in with small nuts. This requires you go into the trunk, remove the nuts and lift the whole assembly out. Some simply snap into place and can be difficult to remove if you don't know where the lock tabs are.%26quot;How to change a rear stop/brake light on a 2002 bonneville?if its the center brake light .... you need to remove the rear seat 2 bolts on either side of the seat at the bottom then you must remove the back of the rear seat 2 bolts also to remove...1 on both ends at the bottom .once they are out slide the rear deck cover towards you and remove it will give you access to the center brake light ( FYI there may be screws to remove to slide the rear deck cover off)
